Process

Submission
Step 1

Submit editing job
  • If you are submitting a job to Editage for the first time, use the Submit quote option.
  • You will be directed to an online submission form.
  • Fill out the form and upload the document to be edited, along with any reference files.
  • Choose the Start edit option (if you would like us to start editing your document immediately) or the Wait, send me a quote option (if you would like us to begin editing only after you confirm the quote that our Client Servicing team will send).
Receive quote
After you have filled out the online submission form, our Client Servicing team will contact you within 60 minutes (during business hours) with a price quote (the quote depends on the word count, selected turnaround time, and level of service chosen).
Accept quote
Once you have received a quote from us, you can choose to accept or reject it. If you accept the quote, you are assigned a login ID and password to login to our online job management system through which you can manage your account with Editage.
Editing
Step 2

Editing begins
Your job is assigned to a lead editor, who begins editing your document.
Clarifications sought
If the lead editor needs any clarifications regarding the content of your document, our Client Servicing team will get in touch with you.
Review, incorporation, and proofread
After the lead editor completes one round of editing, the reviewer conducts a second round of edit. The lead editor then incorporates any changes that the reviewer might recommend and proofreads the entire document.
Final check
Once editing is complete, the Managing Editor runs a final check on the document.
Delivery & payment
Step 3

Receive edited file and invoice
Once the edit is completed, we upload your final document and the invoice on the online system and send you an email notification. You can download the edited document from the online job management system using your login ID and password.
Payment
You can choose to pay either by credit card (Paypal) or bank transfer.
Ongoing support
The lead editor will answer any questions you have regarding the edited document. Alternatively, you can opt for Multiple-Round Editing wherein you can get your document re-edited until you are satisfied.
