Editage makes presentation at SPARC Japan seminar
On December 12, Editage made a presentation titled "Role of editing in improving the quality of English journals in Japan" at a seminar conducted by SPARC Japan at the National Institute of Informatics. Editage was represented by Abhishek Goel, Co-founder and Director - Business Development. The attendees included researchers, journal editors, journal managers, and publishers from academia.
The presentation disseminated valuable information about the editing scenario in Japan. The speakers explained the role of editing in enhancing language quality and outlined the standard approaches to editing by journals. They also provided tips on how journals should formulate an editorial policy and how they can select editors. At the end of presentation, a questionnaire was administered to the attendees to obtain a collective opinion on the quality of English language in Japanese journals.

Cactus establishes an English education division
Cactus Communications Pvt. Ltd. has launched its English educational services under a new arm called i-osmosis.
i-osmosis will offer courses in different styles of written English, thus adding value to clients ranging from researchers and diplomats to English language teachers and high school students. The courses come under two broad categories: test-based and general writing.
