Q: Are recommended journals a better choice?

Detailed Question -

Hello, I had submitted a manuscript to a journal and the editor suggested me to transfer to other journals. But there are no details about other journals. Then I submitted to another journal, but again received the suggestion to transfer to another journal yesterday, and four journals were recommended. What should I do in this situation? Are recommended journals easier to accept? If I turn down these suggestions now, will I be able to submit to these journals again in future?

Answer:

Thank you for your question. The recommended journals are a scope match for your paper. The chances of your manuscript reaching the peer review stage are high or improved on submitting to these journals; however, this does not guarantee publication. Finally, these are just recommendations. You can choose to not submit your manuscript to the recommended journals for now and submit to any of them at a later point in time.

I hope this helped. Please let me know if there are any additional queries.
