Promoting your research after it has been published is in fact a good way to share your knowledge as well as increase the citation of your work. There are several ways in which you can promote your research, like sharing it on social media and writing a lay summary.

Journal articles are subject to copyright and care must be taken while sharing an article to avoid copyright infringement issues. Before you decide to upload your paper on any platform, please read the journal’s copyright policy and make sure you don’t violate the terms of the copyright agreement signed at the time of the submission as it could lead to serious legal consequences.

It is alright for authors to ask the reviewers for clarifications regarding their comments. Sometimes reviewers’ comments may not be very clear or they may be difficult to address. In such a situation, authors may require more clarification to be able to make the required revisions.
