A month ago, my paper was published in an SCI Journal and it is now on an early view status.  However, I suddenly received an email saying that it is now suspected of plagiarism. I found that there was a similar published paper when I submitted my paper after completing my first draft. What should I do?

I submitted a paper to a mathematical journal on 29/3/2017. Three days later, the status changed to "Under review." However, the status never changed after that. I have sent three inquiries to the journal but received no response till date. What should I do? Yet, every time I send an inquiry, I request read receipts and come to know that they have read my messages! I am confused. Can anybody help me?

I have submitted a manuscript to an Elsevier journal a week ago. Immediately after submission, the status changed to "With editor." Now after 6 days, it has been changed to "With managing editor." What does this mean?

I submitted a paper to an Elsevier journal, and some time agao, the status of my paper changed from "Required Reviews Completed" to "Under Editor Evaluation." But it is in the same position for the past one month. Generally how much time does it take for this status to change? Can I I send an inquiry to the editor about the status?

I submitted a paper to a journal (IF is about 4.7), but it became “editor reject” in a few days with the comment that a more specialized journal was recommended. Then I submitted my paper to its parent journal (IF is about 6.6) and it became again “editor reject”, but it recommended a submission to the former journal which rejected my paper, and also a transfer service was attached. When I submitted to the parent journal, I told that my paper was rejected by the former journal. In this case,...

The status has not changed from “With Editor” since 2 months after submission. I submitted a paper on September 7, 2017, and only the date was updated twice (maybe the editor edited) but the status did not change from “With Editor.” The status was last updated on September 16. I sent an inquiry to the journal and they replied that “we are asking the editor about the status. We will inform you once we get a reply.” But it's been once week since, but I haven't received any response. In this case...

I submitted a paper to Elsevier journal 2 weeks back. Now I received an email that the paper is being sent to another editor. When I checked the journal site, I understood that it has moved from a Subject Editor to an Associate Editor . What does this mean?

My article is submitted to an Elsevier journal. Six months after submission, it went to "Under review" for one month. Now it's over one month and the status is showing "Under editor evaluation." What does it mean? Should I send an email to the editor or just wait?

I received an email from the editor, with a quote from the reviewer saying "I regret to inform you that the authors failed to address the points I raised in my previous review of this manuscript; in this case, any further comments on this manuscript is pointless." I sent them an email to ask which point we failed to address because I had made the changes in the manuscript that the reviewer had asked for. The reviewer said that the authors failed to update the reference list. However, I had...

I submitted a manuscript to a BMC journal in the middle of July, and received a decision of minor revision in August. As the revision was not so difficult, I submitted the revised manuscript in the middle of August. The status was changed to "Editorial assessment" soon, but 2 months have passed without progress since then. The decision was delayed, so I sent a reminder in the middle of October. The editorial office replied in 5 days that the recommendation was just issued by the handling editor...
