Q: I want to know whether or not the editor forgot to attach the review comments.

Detailed Question -

I had recently submitted my manuscript. Today, the editor sent a mail asking me to revise my submission based on the reviewer comments. However, I’m not able to find the reviewer comments in the mail; there were no attached files with the reviewer’s comments. What should I do?

Answer:

Yes, the editor may have missed doing so. So, you may reply to them saying that you can’t seem to find the comments document(s) in the mail. If they had indeed missed sending it/them to you, they should have no problem in resharing with you. However, before writing to them, do check if they had sent a separate mail with the comments that may have landed up in your spam/junk folder.

To handle the peer review comments, when you do receive the document(s), you may find the following resources useful.
