Q: If a case group is overlapped in two papers, is it a duplicate publication?

Detailed Question -

One of my accepted papers reported a significant difference by simply comparing some parameter data in the control group (20 cases) and case group A (20 cases). In the paper currently under submission, I compare the same case group A (20 cases) and other case group B (20 cases), which are clinically difficult to distinguish, and analyze the diagnostic effect by ROC analysis. The case group A overlaps with the previous paper, so would it be considered a duplicate publication?
