Q: Is there a database for industry-level concentration ratios?

Hi,

For my master's thesis, I am using a moderator that entails the degree of industry concentration of the industry that a firm operates in. I was wondering if anyone knows whether there is a database anywhere online that contains information on the industry concentration ratio? Like the Herfindahl Hirschmann Index (HHI) or the four-firm concentration ratio?

Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of independent, reliable sources of this information, but here’s one: Concentration Ratios

Other sources would be research papers that have already been published, where the researchers have independently computed the concentration ratios, as in this case: Concentration, market power and dynamism in the euro area
