Join us in celebrating our birthday in style!
Editage Insights turns five years old today!
Who doesn’t love birthdays! We sure do. And so this year, to make our birthday super special, we have decided to extend our birthday celebrations throughout the month. Doesn’t that sound like fun! We have an exciting line-up of activities planned during the month, and as readers of Editage Insights, we’d love for you to be part of the festivities.
The truth is we’d be incomplete without you, our Editage Insights researcher community. After all, this is your platform! So naturally, we have some really exciting activities and birthday giveaways for you!
Participate in one or more of the activities listed below and stand a chance to win special prizes in our lucky draw.
- Register for a live talk by PhDiva Lorie Owens on "How I juggled a full-time profession and a PhD at 55"
You must have read up a lot about what you need to do to successfully complete your PhD. But the truth is the road to a PhD is full of hurdles and challenges. It is not uncommon for aspiring researchers to feel demotivated and give up in the process. It is extremely important for you to stay focused and motivated to follow through until the end of your PhD. In this live talk, you get to hear from someone who knows exactly what these challenges are and has overcome them herself? Know more about the talk and block your seat here.
Are you finding it difficult to deal with the pressures of an academic career? Send in your questions to Lorie at firstname.lastname@example.org and you could stand a chance to win our lucky draw!
- Answer a question on our Q&A Forum
Did you know that the Editage Insights Q&A forum now lets you answer questions posed by other researchers in our community, on topics such as selecting journals, understanding the submission process, and so on?
Head over to the Q&A Forum and lend a helping hand to your fellow Editage Insights community members by solving their queries. Community members who volunteer to answer questions will stand a chance to win one of the prizes in our lucky draw.
- Check out our birthday clothes – our brand new website – and share feedback
You may have already noticed that Editage Insights has a brand new look. The refurbished platform will now allow you to create and edit your own user profile, decide what content you would like to read, share your own academic story, contribute as a guest, enhance your profile by answering other researchers’ queries, share your thoughts on posts written by others, and do much more!
