I did my undergrad in a very low ranked university. Since I thought I deserved a better university, I used to regret it every day, actually for four years; I was utterly discouraged during my undergrad. In my last year, I got my sh*t together and tried to be admitted to a better university. So I did my Master's in the best university in my country, the University of Tehran. I worked so assiduously that after my defense, I got admission from two of the best universities in the world (UBC and NUS).
Yes! It doesn't matter how successful you are; you can tell yourself, "always a little further."
