IOP Publishing partners with Editage to launch IOP Editing Services

Editage has partnered with IOP Publishing, a publisher of academic research in physics and engineering, to provide manuscript preparation services to authors through IOP Editing Services. Editage, a leader in English-language editing and publication support services, will make available services such as English-language editing, translation, plagiarism checks, and technical reviews.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Editage to provide these new services,” explained Marc Gillett, Associate Director, Publishing Operations, at IOP Publishing. He continued: “Excellent science can often be held back by poor formatting or language barriers. Our new service will help authors feel confident when submitting their manuscripts, leading to high-quality scientific papers and world-class published research.”

Donald Samulack, President, US Operations, at Editage stated, “Readability, comprehension, and scholarly value go hand-in-hand. At Editage, we pay very close attention to the subject matter of a manuscript, and make it our mission to support the author through a variety of services geared at optimizing the potential of publication success. We feel that a well-written, well-edited paper can lead to the acceleration of scientific progress, and we strive toward that goal.”

IOP Editing Services will be available to all authors, regardless of where they wish to publish. A range of pricing and delivery time options will ensure that authors can choose the level of assistance that best suits their needs.
