Editorial policies & critical factors for publication

Manuscript review process (as mentioned on website)

  • The editorial structure is formed by Senior Editors and an Editorial Review Board.
  • Authors may nominate up to three reviewers (with appropriate expertise and no conflict of interest with the author(s) or the paper). The journal will make every effort to select one of the authors' nominated reviewers.
  • Editors and reviewers work with authors to develop papers.
  • Manuscripts are reviewed in a double-blind process by at least two reviewers.
  • The Senior Editor combines his or her comments with the reviewers' comments to form a decision.
  • Each Senior Editor is charged with the decision to accept/reject a paper or to request a revision and resubmission.
  • If a revision of a manuscript is invited, Organization Science urges the authors to resubmit the manuscript within three months and no later than one year from the date a revision is requested.
