Q: Please help me write a correct title.
Title : MicroRNA-561 promotes the acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in HepG2 cells and the primary human hepatocytes through down regulation of the nuclear receptor corepressor dosage-sensitive sex-reversal adrenal hypoplasia congenital critical region on the X chromosome, gene 1 (DAX-1) in adult human.
Hello Divya – Welcome to the forum! Getting straight to your query, the thing is, it’s not always possible, or fair, to suggest a title without looking at the entire paper rather than only the topic. Also, what you have here is the subject of the study rather than an initial title. You will need to rework and trim this until you finally arrive at a title that fulfills certain criteria for a title, such as being short, attention-grabbing, indicative of the study, and comprehensive while being crisp. You will find all these details, including a step-by-step process for arriving at a title that works, in this excellent article: How to write an effective title and abstract and choose appropriate keywords
One more tip. If you are getting stuck, have only a working title for now, complete the paper, and come back and refine the title. This often works; in some cases, the title then ‘almost writes itself.’ :-)
Finally, as this also touched upon editing, if you need help with editing your paper (rather than only the title), you may of course check out any of our range of editing services here.
Hope that helps. And all the best with the title – and the paper too!
