Strategy and tips for writing a high-quality research paper (Estratégia e dicas para escrever um artigo de alta qualidade)
This session was conducted in Portuguese and was customized especially for researchers in Brazil. In this session, participants learned about the most common structure of reporting. The objective of this session was to help authors avoid making errors as they write their Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections.
The session was led by Dr. Karin Hoch Fehlauer Ale.
Some key concepts that were covered in this session included:
- How to structure a paper while paying attention to critical sections
- How to write the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections
- Discussion about common errors and tips on writing IMRAD sections
- How to write a clear, concise title and an informative abstract
