Detailed Question -

I have submitted a revised paper to the Elsevier journal 'Ecological Informatics'. How long does it take to get comments? I thought Elsevier has the fastest processing journals.

Answer:

Thank you for reaching out to us. Every journal has a different response time ranging from a few weeks to months. The peer review process, which your paper is currently undergoing, in particular, can take very long. Please continue to track the progress of your article here: https://www.editorialmanager.com/ecoinf/default.aspx.

You can check what each stage means here - https://service.elsevier.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5971/supporthub/publishing/.

If it's still "Under Review" after two weeks and you'd like further information, you can also opt to write to the journal directly.
