Q: The revised manuscript has not been sent for peer review

Detailed Question -

I got a major revision decision, and resubmitted the revised manuscript. Usually a revised manuscript is sent for peer review within a few days from resubmission, but this time the revised manuscript is with Editor for 1.5 months and has not been sent for review. I feel like to make inquiry, but should I wait for more while before making inquiry?

Thank you for your question. We understand that after resubmitting the revised manuscript it has still not been sent for peer review. Since more than a month has passed post the resubmission, we recommend writing to the journal to inquire about the status of the manuscript.
