Think Check Submit - The checklist that helps you choose a reliable journal

Jayashree Rajagopalan | Jan 5, 2017 | 3,378 views

How confused do you feel when it comes to picking a reliable target journal for your research? Chances are you feel lost, and rightly so! The number of journals launched each year is on the rise, and today, researchers have several options to choose from. The other, more serious, aspect of this rise is the increase in the number of predatory or bogus journals and publishers who lure authors with false promises, e.g., speedy publication or guaranteed publication. So how do you find out if your target journal is reliable and genuine? The Think Check Submit campaign was launched by a coalition of supporting organizations from scholarly publishing to help researchers identify trusted journals for their research, with the help of a simple checklist. You are free to download and share this infographic.
