Q: What is the proper way (in Chicago Author-Date) to cite (inline) translation...

Detailed Question -

I am writing an essay with Chicago Author-Date format and I want to include a block quote from the original Spanish-language version and then follow that with a block quote from the translated English version. For example... "Spanish block quote" (Martinez 1974, 324) "English translation of Spanish block quote" (Martinez 1994, 134) This would appear to cause confusion for the reader (and it's confusing my editors) because of the date inconsistency between the two block quotes. What is the proper way to cite the translated version with an inline citation?
