He is the author of the award-winning books\u00a0<em>The Access Principle: The Case for Open Access to Research and Scholarship<\/em>\u00a0(MIT Press, 2006) and\u00a0<em>Learning to Divide the World: Education at Empire&#8217;s End<\/em>\u00a0(University of Minnesota Press, 1998). Most of his recent research and published works discuss the topic of digital scholarship and open access.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Currently, Dr. Willinsky is Khosla Family Professor of Education at Stanford University and Professor of Publishing Studies (Part-time) at Simon Fraser University. He is also Founder and Director of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pkp.sfu.ca\/\">Public Knowledge Project<\/a>\u00a0(PKP) in partnership with\u00a0Simon Fraser University Library.
