Blood<\/em> publishes original articles on all aspects of hematology, including disorders of leukocytes, both benign and malignant, erythrocytes, platelets, hemostatic mechanisms, vascular biology, immunology, and hematologic oncology.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr Bob L\u00f6wenberg is the Editor-in-chief. He is Chairman, Department of Hematology at Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His research focuses on developmental diagnostics and therapeutics, particularly acute myeloid leukaemia in the context of single centre and multicentre prospective clinical trials, which evaluate new agents and new therapeutic approaches taking into account the molecular heterogeneity of the disease. The editor-in-chief is supported by a deputy editor, two special sections editors, sixteen associate editors, and nearly a hundred-strong editorial board.<\/span><\/p>\n

CRITERIA FOR PUBLICATION<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Papers focusing on human immunobiology, and those that advance the present understanding of normal or malignant hematologic processes, are preferred.
