The positive results it has yielded are encouraging and indicate the potential of such initiatives in creating a space where science is easily available and accessible to anyone in any corner of the globe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SciELO and Editage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In October 2013, at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scielo15.org\/en\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SciELO 15 Years Conference<\/a> the network commemorated its 15th anniversary as the gentle giant that slowly but successfully built its repository from 10 journals to over 250. CACTUS (the parent company of Editage) also participated in this event. At the conference, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scielo15.org\/donald-samulack-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Samulack, President, U.S. operations<\/a>\u00a0at CACTUS, joined a panel discussing \u201cExperiences, Solutions, and Products and Services in Scholarly Communications.\u201d Donald also presented a session titled \u201cCan an author&#8217;s editor help expedite peer
