Although a freelance editing model offers greater\u00a0editor availability and subject-area expertise, it necessitates better\u00a0quality control. We hypothesize that while a freelance model is\u00a0best equipped to offer subject-area expertise, a uniformly trained,\u00a0centralized team of reviewers can help standardize the editing\u00a0quality and ensure consistency in style.
