Inductive vs deductive reasoning<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Inductive reasoning moves from specific observations to broader generalizations and theories. It makes inferences from a limited set of specific facts or data points. With the inductive approach<\/b>, a researcher begins by collecting data. Next, the data are analyzed for patterns, on the basis of which a theory is developed to explain the patterns.
