By next month, I should be back to posting monthly life updates, but I thought it would be better if I combine the last few months!<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\"><b>JULY:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\">I began redrafting my probation report. SURPRISE, SURPRISE \u2013 there were many spelling mistakes!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\">I continued transcribing archive documents\u2013something I\u2019ve learnt this year is that THIS TAKES FOREVER.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\">I dislocated my knee (not work-related but it definitely impacted it!).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\">I wrote a piece for the brilliant\u00a0<i>First 100 Years<\/i>\u00a0project. Weirdly, chairing a panel was super stressful and nerve-racking! Almost more so than delivering a paper!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\">I prepped for AND PASSED MY MINI-VIVA! EEEEEEK! This means that I was upgraded to PhD status and my research was approved.
