It\u2019s a blow to find that you\u2019ve published in a journal that is not as reputed as you think it is. It\u2019s especially challenging if you\u2019re at the beginning of your research career. But a single \u201csuspect\u201d journal on your CV doesn\u2019t mean that your research career is derailed! If you\u2019re worried about how a paper in a delisted journal would affect your reputation or credibility, here are some tips on how to navigate this situation. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 107%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\"><strong>Do not remove the article from your CV<\/strong>. The article can still indicate your worth as a scientist as long as it\u2019s a genuine product of your own research and writing (i.e., not from a paper mill or fraud). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 107%;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;\">If already published, <strong>do not resubmit the article<\/strong> to another journal. This is considered scientific fraud.
