My manuscript was accepted by a domestic journal the other day, but I found a part which needs to be corrected. I sent the corrected text to the editorial office with an apology. Which action would be best in such a situation?

What you did was absolutely correct. You can email the journal editor explaining the necessary revision. However, if the revision is minor, you may also wait until the publisher sends you the galley proofs to check and inform the revisions at that time.
If your manuscript is already published online, then you can request the journal to publish an Erratum in the subsequent issue.
