Charlott is a final year PhD student about to embark on a career in science communication and recently started the blog www.whatascientistdoes.wordpress.com. She is passionate about explaining seemingly complex scientific concepts and research in a way that everyone can understand. Her writing tries to bridge the gap between the actual research happening and the sometimes questionable reporting of it in the media. While doing this, she is aiming to complete her thesis write up and tries to squeeze in some occasional fun.
