(January 9, 2017; Philadelphia, PA) - The Rockefeller University Press (RUP) and Editage have launched http://editage.rupress.org/ to provide pre-submission services to authors aiming to publish their research in The Journal of Cell Biology (JCB), The Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM), or The Journal of General Physiology (JGP).

The author services available at http://editage.rupress.org/ include copy editing, translation, and publication support by Editage’s professional editors who are PhDs, MDs, or BELS-certified and have experience in more than 200 life- and medical-science subjects. In addition to checking for spelling, punctuation, and grammar, the editing packages on offer include reference checks, word reduction, re-editing support, and guidance through the publication process.

Translation services available at http://editage.rupress.org/ pair bilingual experts with Editage’s senior editors to help international scientists accurately express their research in English from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Additional publication support services include technical review, artwork preparation, and plagiarism check.

“Editage has gained a solid reputation in our industry for the quality of its editors and resources,” RUP Executive Director Susan King says. “We are pleased to partner with Editage to offer these services, and provide authors with more confidence in the quality of their manuscripts before submitting them to our journal editors for consideration.”
