Dudley Benton is the author of over 60 peer-reviewed papers, many more technical reports, and 35 books, 2 of which were ranked #1 by Amazon. Dudley’s career spanned four decades and included working for the US TVA Engineering Laboratory, contracting with the US Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency, and Army Corps of Engineers, and finally working in the largest third-party performance-testing agency in the world, specializing in power and process plants as well as emissions. He grew up by a canal in Ft. Lauderdale and was into boating since an early age; this passion for boating has only grown with time. Now retired, he writes books (both technical and fiction) and answers lots of questions on several forums, including: ResearchGate, mechanical-engg.com, and Physics Help Forum. He has a rich and diverse educational experience and wants to pass on that knowledge to the next generation.
