Bio
Asst. Prof. Dr. Emad Kamil Hussein was born in Babil, Iraq, in 1972. He received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2011. In 2006 he joined the Pumps Engineering Department, in Al-Mussaib Technical College as an assistant lecturer and in 2015 he received his academic title as an assistant professor. During this time interval, he was firstly coordinator of his department, then head of this department, followed by his responsibility as deputy dean for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies and finally he is now head of the scientific committee in his college. His current research interests include mechanical engineering, human skin friction, biotribology, viscoelastic properties, and prosthetic components design. Dr. Emad is a full member of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), and United Arab Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (UASPO), plus he was head of many scientific and organizing committees of many international conferences, in addition he was a supervision of many post-graduate students including Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees. He have published many scientific papers and articles in a trusted and indexed journals
