Bio
Eshita is a researcher pursuing her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) - Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology (IHBT) in Palampur, India. As a researcher, she loves exploring the mysteries of nature. Her research is on “Bio prospecting Microbial Endophytes and their Natural Products from Some Medicinal Plants from the Indian Trans-Himalayas” for which she studies the interactions of plant and soil microbes.
When not in the lab, she loves oil painting, reading self-improvement books and listening to soothing music. Being near to the Himalayas has also allowed her to be close to nature and go trekking in the mountains. She feels blessed to work at a laboratory that is situated in the lap of the Himalayas.
