Bio
Jolijn loves stories, and all the shapes and forms they come in. As much as she enjoys a good book, she also loves to travel, meet new people and listen to their stories with whole new perspectives. This is also why she is so passionate about language, as it allows people to share those stories. While studying linguistics, Jolijn really got into the intricacies of language, which brought her to taking on a PhD in linguistics. As much as the research still fascinates her, the theoretical aspect of it sometimes feels a little bit too far away from everyday life, and therefore Jolijn is now looking for new and challenging opportunities to explore her passions outside of academia.
