Pamela Ayers, MSW, brings over 25 years of experience in human services and an empathic, human-centered approach to her work in grants, program development, and strategy. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that every project should begin with the needs of the people it serves and result in tailored solutions that align with their aspirations. Throughout her career, Pam has facilitated diverse, creative teams to develop customized strategies that meet these goals. In her current role at Empreinte Consulting, LLC, Pam leads an experienced team of eight grants professionals. Together, they excel in program operations, grant strategy, and winning proposal development. Pam also collaborates with the firm’s 20+ consultants to offer clients a full range of philanthropic, fundraising, and strategic advisory services. Previously, Pam served as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & Project Development with a Rochester, NY-based organization specializing in management services and technical assistance tailored to meet the needs of local behavioral health, social and human services departments, state agencies, and community-based organizations. In that role, she worked closely with clients to identify critical needs and design individualized projects. She has provided fractional leadership and customer relationship management to community-based organizations of all sizes, driven by her passion for strengthening infrastructure to support long-term organizational stability. Pam also spent 20 years at one of the largest child and family service organizations in the Northeast, serving in both clinical and macro-level roles. Her dual expertise in clinical and administrative roles allows her to create systems that mirror the needs of both frontline staff and the communities they serve. A social worker at heart, Pam is dedicated to giving back, serving on the boards of Compeer Rochester and the Reentry Association of Western NY, hosting a community food stand, and volunteering for her children’s sports and music programs. She is also a triathlete, dog lover, and aspiring Adirondack 46er, hiking with her husband. Pam holds a Master of Social Work from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Elmira College.
