Patricia K. (Patty) Baskin, MS, is Executive Editor of the Neurology® journals, Neurology, Neurology: Clinical Practice, Neurology: Neuroimmunology & Neuroinflammation and Neurology: Genetics. Patty completed a 3-year stint as Editor-in-Chief of the Council of Science Editors’ quarterly publication, Science Editor and is currently President-Elect of the Council of Science Editors. Previously, she held positions of Executive Managing Editor, Manager of Program Operations, Managing Editor, and Associate Managing Editor at various bioscience journals, facilitated setting up editorial offices, and served as a freelance consultant and manuscript editor for other scientific journals and technical publications. Patty holds a Master’s degree in genetics from the University of California, Berkeley.
