Bio
Roxana is the Director of Research Administration Program in the Topical Research Centre of the U.S. Navy Medical Research Unit. She is a lawyer and has earned two Master's degrees in Bioethics and Epidemiological Research each. She is a member of two Peruvian IRBs and provides support to other IRBs in Central America. She has worked at NAMRU-6 I Lima, Peru, for over 30 years and her experience spans from research ethics to regulatory aspects and research integrity, having been actively involved in developing training programs, strengthening research ethics oversight, developing institutional policies and procedures for human subject protection and scientific integrity. Roxana was one of the developers of the Peruvian Responsible Conduct of Research online course (CRI), and continues to speak on research integrity topics, as a guest lecturer, in various parts of Peru and in neighboring countries.
