I have always loved explaining science. Even as a child, I would eagerly explain the scientific processes behind everyday phenomena to anyone who would listen. Today, I am fortunate to be able to do this for a living.
Life is beautiful, and it is amazing to think that every time we laugh, dance, or fall sick, it is all just a series of chemical reactions. These reactions are orchestrated by a code, which in the case of human beings is about 3 billion genetic letters long. Scientists are working feverishly to understand the role of not only the maestro orchestrator, but also of each molecule under its command and their part in making us who we are.
I find biology fascinating, and I am committed to creating a bridge between the language of science and the language of everyday life. Armed with a Master's degree in genetics, I set out to write about complex scientific concepts in a way that is accessible to the general public. I soon expanded my repertoire to include illustrating, doodling, and creating infographics, posters, and graphics all related to life sciences. I find great joy in sharing scientific achievements with those who are curious about the world in a language that they can understand.
Apart from scicomm, I enjoy cooking and exploring the city. When I am not working, you will likely find me doing one of those two things.
