Q: Should I withdraw my manuscript if the journal editor recommends it to be submitted after minor revisions? What if I don’t resubmit?

Hello. I have submitted my manuscript to a journal, but I came to know that they take a long time to process the submission. It usually takes 6-8 months. I received an email regarding minor revisions and resubmission but I don't want to. Please tell me, is there any worrisome part? Can I submit to any other journal?
