Q: What is the PRISMA checklist?

Detailed Question -

I got this comment from the journal: "We note that this manuscript is a meta-analysis; our author guidelines therefore require that you use PRISMA guidance to help improve reporting quality of this type of study. Please upload a copy of the completed PRISMA checklist as supporting information." What should I do?

1 Answer to this question
Answer:

The PRISMA Statement is a document that consists of a 27-item checklist and a flow-diagram, and aims to guide authors on how to develop a systematic review protocol and what to include when writing the review. Anybody writing a systematic review or meta-analysis needs to fill the PRISMA chceklist and submit it along with their article. Most journals have this as a requirement.

What you need to do is go to the link that I have provided, download the checklist, fill up the details and upload it through the online submission system under the category "supporting information."
