There are several instruments that you can use, and which one to choose largely depends on the resources available to you. Here are some options:
- Published papers on the same topic that have already collected and presented the required data
- The most recent population census published by the government or any other institution (Choose a census that includes labor statistics, income and wage data, and so on.)
- A sample survey conducted using questionnaires
Note that you may wish to supplement the data collected through the above methods with interviews.
