Prof. Caven McLoughlin talked about what researchers must ensure before they begin writing and provided expert guidance on the preparation and submission of their manuscript. The need to cater to a global audience and rise beyond geographical boundaries in order to widen the reach of one’s research findings was stressed on. As part of the Scientific Research Week forum, this half-day workshop initiated by Editage also focused on other key aspects of research publication like making a good first impression with journals and communicating the intended message clearly and with precision. Prof. Caven also shared invaluable tips and tricks on writing a publish-worthy manuscript. The workshop was a definite success, as indicated by the largely positive feedback.
