PhD Candidate (Zoology), BS with Honours (Zoology, Ecology & Conservation). Annie is interested in the evolution of animal behaviour, as well as how recent environmental changes affect wildlife. She has always enjoyed writing and likes using humour to reflect on her experiences. She hopes that sharing some of her research stories might help "humanise" scientists - that is, remind people that we aren't just robots in lab coats (at least, not all of us). She also hopes that some of her stories might help other graduate research students feel less alone. When not writing or analysing data, she has spent the past few years chasing pigeons, getting pooped on by swans, and trying to find her keys.
