Cause of the mysterious Kawasaki disease discovered

The exact cause of the enigmatic and potentially lethal Kawasaki disease, which predominantly affects the children in Japan, Hawaii, and Southern California, was unknown to researchers for decades. It was assumed by many scientists that it could be a viral disease. However, new findings indicate that the causative factor of the disease a fungus known as Candida which is carried by a wind originating in the farmlands of northeastern China. In recent times, the number of afflicted have risen and researchers are now trying to uncover the cause behind this.
