Editage conducts a workshop on ‘Creating an impressive manuscript for SCI journal editors’

On December 12, 2018, Editage collaborated with Wolters Kluwer, India to conduct a workshop at the Army Base Hospital, Delhi. Dr Sucharita Kundu, a published author with 616 career citations to date, was the trainer for the session, who shared her knowledge on how a manuscript can be structured to effectively impress SCI journal editors.

This one-hour session had an impressive turnout that included the DNB (Diplomate of National Board) students along with the faculty and librarians from the Base Hospital as well as the Army Medical College. Dr  Kundu covered various crucial aspects in her session including ‘what to consider while writing for a publication’, ‘formulating a compelling introduction’, ‘methodology writing’, ‘assembling and presenting results’ as well as ‘objectively concluding findings in the results.’

Author education has been a focus for Editage and many more such partnered educational events are in the offing. With over 16 years of expertise and a unique author perspective, Editage recently launched a Training Academy that conducts webinars and workshops on various aspects of the publication process.
