Electronics now goes ultra-thin

Electronics on very thin substrates have shown remarkable flexibility and lightness. Researchers have now been able to develop a new form of thin-film technology that is very flexible and functional. The film can be used to develop comfortable sensors that can monitor various functions of the body, or be woven into textiles or applied to the skin in order to develop “smart” objects.
