BSci (Biochemistry), MRes (Molecular Microbiology), PhD (Plant Science), Current - Postdoctoral scientist. Dr. Hawkins is a postdoctoral scientist working on starch synthesis in plants. Outside of her labwork she enjoys taking part in science communication and outreach activities, promoting plant science. She is also keen to raise awareness of mental health in academia by talking about her own experiences with anxiety.
