Bio
Georgia spent, what she refers to as, “seven wild years” volunteering in various student publications and working as a copywriter and later as a translator, to get closer to her lifelong dream of pursuing a PhD. Her thesis topic is “Katabasis and anabasis as means of satire in Aristophanes and Lucian” and helps her make sense of her life through the lens of Ancient Literature.
For her MA thesis, she had focused on prophetic dreams in Ancient Literature through the lens of Freud and Jung, but had also briefly delved into Ancient Greek Music. She credits her love for research to her love of writing. She is also a self-taught bassist and thinks that her creativity compensates for her lack of formal training. Currently she is focused on drawing and trying to learn German.
Her varying interests make her think that those who know her well also have a hard time figuring out what she will do next, but they rest assured knowing that she always has something up her sleeve.
