Q: Is it possible to correct a paper in that is in "Early View" after proofing?

Detailed Question -

My paper was accepted and the proof was allowed once. I found many points to be corrected, so I sent all the correction to the editorial office. Recently Early View was informed and now I can see my abstract in PubMed. I downloaded it, but I found one error at the table was not corrected. I am concerned every time I see it. Is Early View regarded alike the published article and is the correction impossible anymore? If yes, I will not be concerned from now on, as the error does not affect the whole paper so much.

Answer:

Once you receive the galley proof from the journal, you will need to correct everything and send it back to them. The corrected article is now published online, ahead of inclusion in a print issue. You may view your article online at this stage. Please note that this is the final, published version of your article; no further changes can be made to it. Early View article is fully citable and carries an online publication date and DOI for citations. Hence, it would not be possible for you to correct your article. If you have any concerns, you must write to the journal editor and clarify the points. The editor might agree to publish an erratum to your article in subsequent issues based on the corrections.
