About the speaker: Iva Grabarić Andonovski | Editor of Food Technology and Biotechnology 

A strong advocate for open science and sustainable publishing, Iva Grabarić Andonovski has over 20 years of experience in scholarly communication. She is academically qualified in horticulture and food management and serves as the Vice President of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE). She also chairs its Croatian Regional Chapter and co-chairs the Environment and Sustainability Committee. Leading the Croatian Association for Scholarly Communication (CROASC), Iva actively contributes to global initiatives such as the EASE Environmental Manifesto and the UN SDG Publishers Compact with a focus on diamond open access and responsible publishing practices. 

Session moderator: Radhika Vaishnav | Content & Editorial Manager, Editage Insights

Radhika Vaishnav has extensive experience in both academic research and scientific publishing across basic and clinical sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Kentucky, USA, where she focused on the molecular mechanisms of aging in sensory systems. Her postdoctoral work and independent research centered on discovering novel therapeutic molecules for brain diseases. Radhika is passionate about helping researchers and clinicians navigate the challenges of scientific writing and publishing.
