Part 03 -
Dr. Donald Samulack, US Operations, Editage, Cactus Communications, in conversation with Euan Adie, Founder and CEO of Altmetric
In this third vignette of the interview series about Altmetric, Euan Adie explains how you can find or locate Altmetric data. He talks in detail about the different ways in which journals and publishers integrate Altmetric data into their systems and how this data is made available to users. He also explains the reason behind the colors in different Altmetric donuts for different articles, which enable users to learn the extent and range of impact a published paper has had. He reveals that in addition to large publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, and Nature, a number of smaller publishers also display Altmetric data for the papers they publish.
