Q: How can I get an acceptance from the editors of a journal?
I would like to know how to make editors accept my manuscript? It is still under peer review with a journal. Can you contact with the editors of a journal about making a positive decision?
The acceptance of your manuscript is dependent on the decision of the reviewers and editor. The reviewers and editor make a decision based on several factors such as quality and novelty of the study, its scope, and whether it relates to the kind of studies the journal publishes. If they find your manuscript suitable, they will eventually accept the manuscript.
Unfortunately, we cannot communicate to the journal on your behalf. Also, trying to influence the journal editors in any way to receive a favorable decision is not exactly ethical: in fact, it can have an adverse effect and can create a negative impression on the journal editor.
It would be advisable to wait for another week to receive a response. In case, you do not receive a response, you can make use of a template on how to write an inquiry to the journal editor in this article: How do I write an inquiry to the editor about my manuscript's current status?
